598–610 Crown Street, Surry Hills is a heritage mixed-use development designed by PTW Architects for developer V. Wong. The three-storey project comprises six luxury retail tenancies at street level, with two storeys of premium commercial space above.

SUREX has been engaged across all disciplines, delivering a full-service scope from spatial coordination through to Construction Documentation. Currently in pre-construction, the project reflects a highly collaborative and design-led approach.

A jacaranda tree sits at the heart of the design, carefully retained as a defining feature of the development and integrated into the overall spatial experience. The preservation of the heritage façade and deep-recessed balconies also played a central role in the project, requiring a considered engineering response to support the architectural vision while respecting the building’s existing character.

The project showcases SUREX’s capability in delivering coordinated engineering solutions for complex, heritage-sensitive developments.
